Foundation Repair

Foundation Repair Experts

If you’ve gotten a chance to read through some of the other parts of the site you’ll know there are a ton of different ways to repair a foundation. In fact, the type of foundation that you have in your home is also going to heavily influence the repair possibilities that we’re going to have. We can go into the technical details of each situation on a per-case basis. What we want to do here is actually talk about the process of working with us on a foundation repair. What can you expect from our team from the moment you give us a call to the last time we leave your property with your foundation fully repaired.

Finding Out What’s Actually Wrong With Your Foundation

This is the obvious step, and it’s actually one in which you as a homeowner can easily spot a repair company that’s probably not going to be able to help you out. If they give you a budget on the spot without being able to give a rundown of why you would need the particular procedure that they’re recommending you may need to look elsewhere.

Setting Up A Plan For The Repairs

For the most part what we’ll provide to our clients is a set of options when it comes to the repairs. Unless it’s a situation where we feel that for example leveling needs to be the repair method because the structure is literally coming apart. In this plan what we also want to account for are the actual days that we’re going to be working on your property. For the most part you don’t have to leave the home for your foundation to be repaired. If we can work during days when we’ll be less of a nuisance to you and your family that’s always something that we like to be able to do.

Actually Going Through With The Repairs

If we set up repair plans correctly we’re going to be able to actually get the job done while disturbing you as little as we possibly can. We put so much emphasis on the prep procedures if you will that actually making the repairs is usually not an overwhelming feeling. Very rarely do we come across situations where the damage to the structure is worse than what we thought. When that happens that can alter the original plans that we had completely. For the most part by this point things run really smoothly.

Final Inspections & Potentially Preventive Measures Need To Be Taken

Once we’ve completed a foundation repair procedure we’re going to want to go back in and make sure that we just didn’t miss anything. Also if the foundation repairs were needed because there was an issue with leaks in your crawl space and things of that nature then waterproofing after we’ve repaired the damage is a good idea. We talk about this with people often. We don’t just want to find what’s wrong and fix it. Ideally, we’ll be able to find the source of the problem and fix that as well. If not you’re going to be back at square one quickly!
